Remove any sources of ignition.
Protective clothing, safety gloves and safety glasses must always be worn.
Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated.
When working on vehicles at ambient temperatures over 60 °C, all gas cylinders must be removed.

Remove/install

Empty lines after solenoid valve liquid phase

Remove gas line (1) from liquid phase solenoid valve and seal connections using suitable stop plugs

 Gas line to reducer

Remove vacuum hose (3)

 Vacuum hose to evaporator pressure regulator

Remove the gas line connection (4)

 Gas hose to gas filter

Pinch off coolant hoses (8)

 Clamp

Remove coolant hoses (8) from the connection fitting of the evaporator pressure regulator (2)

 Catch escaping coolant with a suitable vessel.

 Installation: After installing the evaporator pressure regulator (2), pour any coolant that escaped back into the coolant and heater circuit.

Release and disconnect electrical connection (6)

Remove screw/bolt (7) and remove evaporator pressure regulator (2)

Install in the reverse order

Check gas line (1), gas line connection (4) and the evaporator pressure regulator (2) for leaktightness

Connect and run up the liquefied petroleum gas system diagnosis function check over actual values



Determine the actual value (Delta P)

If the pressure (Delta P) of 1150 mbar is not reached.



Adjust the evaporator pressure regulator (2).
