1 | Open the engine compartment hood | Refer to the body makers instructions. | |

2 | Unscrew the cover (1) and remove it from the fuel filter housing (5) together with the filter element (3) | When unscrewing the cover (1), the fuel will flow to the reservoir, through the return pipe. | |
Installation: Check the O-ring (2) and replace it, if required. | |||

3 | Remove the dirt container (4) from the housing (5) | Eliminate dirt build-up from the container (4). | |
4 | Unscrew the hollow screw (11) and disconnect the line (10) | Installation: Replace the sealing rings (9). | |

7 | Remove the sealing joint (6) of the fuel filter housing (5) | Installation: Replace the sealing joint (6). | |
8 | Install in reverse order | ||
9 | Bleed the fuel system | ||

Act on the handle of the hand primer pump until strong resistance is observed. | |||
Warning | Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. | |
10 | Run the motor and check the fuel system tightness | Do not crank the engine continuously for more than 30 seconds. If the engine does not fire within this interval, wait approximately 1 minute to crank it again. | |
11 | Stop the engine |
