Risk of explosion due to escaping combustible gas or overheating of gas cylinders.Risk of injury caused by burns to skin and eyes. Risk of frostbite to body parts caused by escaping gas and by touching components near the valves when emptying gas cylinders. Risk of poisoning or suffocation caused by inhaling gas.

Remove any sources of ignition.
Protective clothing, safety gloves and safety glasses must always be worn.
Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated.
When working on vehicles at ambient temperatures over 60 °C, all gas cylinders must be removed.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Remove/install

Switch off ignition

Slightly bend heat shield of exhaust system to the side

Unfasten filling line connection (11) on filling connection (10) and allow the gas escape

 Union nut, filling line to filler connection

Remove filling line and close off with suitable stop plug

 Record plug

Push back rubber grommet (7) about 20 cm

Remove clamp (5) on holder of the gas reservoir (1)

 Bolt, pipe clamp to frame

Remove the protective grille

Place major assembly mount with mounting plate on gas reservoir (1) and lash the gas reservoir (1)

Remove the gas reservoir (1) from holder

Lower the gas reservoir (1) by about 30 cm

 Installation: Ensure the mounting bolt is in the correct position.

Push back screw/bolts (2) and remove cover (3)

 Installation: Recut the thread of the three holders for the cover.

Unscrew filling line on multiple valve and close off connections using suitable stop plugs

Remove fuel tank

Remove filling line

 Installation: Fabricate new filling line according to the removed line.

Install in the reverse order

Perform GAP

 Compressed-gas tank, gas shutoff valve
