Remove key from electronic ignition switch control unit

 Vehicles with Keyless-Go Code 889: press Start/Stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off.

Remove air filter housing

Pump hydraulic fluid out of Active Body Control expansion reservoir (1a) and power steering expansion reservoir (1b)

 Hand pump.

Disconnect hose (2b) from power steering expansion reservoir (1b)

 Seal connections immediately.

 Set of plugs.

Disconnect return hoses (3, 4) from caps of Active Body Control expansion reservoir (1a) and power steering expansion reservoir (1b)

 Seal connections immediately.

7 mm wrench socket on flexible shaft

Disconnect pneumatic line (5) from intake port shutoff switchover valve (Y83), guide out of retaining clamp (5a) and set aside

Pry retaining clip (6) of electric feed line off bracket (1c)

Remove screw/bolt (7)

 Self-locking nut, expansion reservoir to fender liner.

Unscrew nuts (8)

 Self-locking nut, expansion reservoir bracket to longitudinal member.

Separate electrical connector of traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3) and put down feed line to one side

Lift out bracket (1c) with Active Body Control expansion reservoir (1a) and power steering expansion reservoir (1b)

Disconnect hose (2a) from Active Body Control expansion reservoir (1a)

 Seal connections immediately.

Install in the reverse order

 Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

 Fill and bleed both systems simultaneously, otherwise the power steering pump will be damaged.
