Check center position of steering linkage, adjust if necessary

Check wheel angle and adjust if necessary

Remove/install

Fill power steering pump and bleed

Open flap in front end and secure

 By pulling lever at left under dashboard.

Remove quick fasteners in center part of bumper

Fold down center part of bumper

Connect oil pressure gauge

Lift/jack up vehicle

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Start engine and allow to run at increased idle speed

 Keep the idle speed constant at approx. 800 rpm.

Adjust stop limiting valve (5) for right steer (R)

Set pressure reduction valve (4) for left steer (L)
