Removing
1 Unscrew bolt (8) of locking plate (6) .
2 Remove spring washer (7) and locking plate.
3 Turn the left end stop valve (4) to the stop.
The steering must be in the central position when screwing in the end stop valve.

4 The left end stop valve (4) must be unscrewed exactly 2.5 turns.
As the valve is under high pressure, it must not be unscrewed more than 2.5 turns when the engine is running.

5 The cover plate (arrow) must be pried out of the steering wheel with a suitable screwdriver.

6 Place the socket wrench bit on the steering wheel nut.
7 Attach the torque wrench and pull the steering wheel to the left against the stop (arrow) and hold it there .

8 The left end stop valve (4) must be screwed in until the pressure on the oil pressure gage is in the area of the desired value.
The pressure must not rise any further.
Install
9 Insert the locking plate for both end stop valves and fix with the bolt (arrow) .
If the locking plate cannot be inserted, the end stop valves must be turned clockwise until they line up with the cutout in the locking plate.

10 Insert the cover plate (arrow) in the steering wheel nut recess.
