Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove heat exchanger (2)

Attach commercially available pressure plate (1) to heat exchanger (2) with O-rings

Install compressed air line (3) on test connection (A)

The large oil circuit is checked at test connection (A).

Fill water side of heat exchanger (2) with hot water and seal

Observe the specified water temperature.

Gradually apply compressed air to heat exchanger (2) and check heat exchanger (2) for leaks


Do not exceed the maximum test pressure.
Otherwise the heat exchanger (2) could be damaged.

If there are problems

Replace the heat exchanger (2). Drain any preservation oil which may have collected in the new heat exchanger (2) and flush out with hot water.

The new heat exchangers (2) are moistened with preservation oil on the water and oil side.

Repeat operation steps 3 to 5 at test connection (B)

The small oil circuit is checked at test connection (B).

Repeat operation steps 3 to 5 at test connection (C)

The transmission oil circuit is checked at test connection (C).
