1 | Turn key in electronic ignition switch control module in position "0" | Vehicles with Keyless-Go Code 889: press Start/Stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. | |
2 | Push down brake pedal several times | To release the vacuum in the brake system. | |
3 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | ||
4 | Remove air cleaner housing | ||
5 | Remove left hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/6) with air intake pipe | ||
6.1 | Remove noise insulation (1) | ||
7 | Remove front engine cover (2) | ||
8 | Unclip retaining clamps (3) | ||
9 | Detach vacuum line (4a) from vacuum pump (5) | ||
10 | Unplug vacuum lines (4a, 4b) and remove vacuum line (4a) | ||
11 | Detach pneumatic line (6) from connecting pipe and lever off connecting pipe (7) from brake booster (8) | ||
12 | Press grommet (9) out of partition and remove vacuum line (4b) | ||
13 | Install in the reverse order |
