Remove/install

Take off front wheels

Installation: Do not lower vehicle.

Turn adjustment screw (2) on automatic linkage adjuster (3) in counterclockwise direction until the brake drum (1) rotates freely

Mark installation position of hub (4) relative
to brake drum (1)

Installation: Note installation position of hub (4) and brake drum (1).

Remove spherical rings (5)

Pry off brake drum (1) with appropriate bolts over the
threaded holes (arrow) and remove brake drum (1)

Clean brake drum (1) and brake linings

Check brake drums (1) and brake linings on front axle for signs of wear
