1 | Remove final drive. | ||
2 | Mount ring gear and pinion on assembly stand using assembly adapter | The ring gear and pinion must at least be fastened with 4 bolts respectively in the area of the tapered roller bearings of the differential cage and ring gear on the assembly plate. | |
3 | Remove radial sealing ring on drive pinion | No further work should be carried out on the drive pinion and its bearing in order to avoid damage to the ring gear and pinion. | |
4 | Remove crown wheel with differential | ||
5 | Detach ring gear from differential cage | ||
6 | Disassemble differential | ||
7 | Detach tapered roller bearing from differential cage | ||
8 | Detach tapered roller bearing from ring gear | ||

9 | Attach tapered roller bearing to ring gear | ||
10 | Attach tapered roller bearing to differential cage | ||
11 | Assemble differential | ||
12 | Install ring gear on differential cage | ||
13 | Install crown wheel with differential | ||
14 | Installing radial seal ring on drive pinion | ||
15 | Detach ring gear and pinion from assembly stand | ||
16 | Install final drive |
