Remove/install rear section of transmission housing

16 Reverse gear

17 Needle roller bearing

18 Reverse gear bolt

19 Countershaft

20 Main shaft

21 Input shaft

8 Nut

9 Output flange

10 Radial sealing ring

11 Pulse plate

12 Washer

13 Washer

14 Bolt

	Remove
1	Remove front section of transmission housing		AR26.40-I-2470B
2	Take off cap (15) and remove bolt (14) with washer (13) from reverse gear bolt (18).
3	Remove reverse gear bolt (18) and reverse gear together with needle roller bearings (17).
4	Remove central shift shaft (3).
5	Remove bolts (5) at shift lock (6).
6	Fit rear section of transmission housing (7) on holder.		AR26.40-I-2475-05B

7	Unscrew nut (8) and remove output flange (9).		*717589003100
8	Remove rear section of transmission housing (7).
9	Remove shift lock (6).
10	Remove shift shafts (1, 2, 4) from rear section of transmission housing (7).	 Do not remove bracket.

11	Remove radial sealing ring (10).
	Install
12	Insert shift shafts (1, 2, 4) into main shaft (20).
13	Insert shift lock (6) into shift shafts (1, 2, 4).	 Shift lock (6) must engage in locking groove.
14	Insert rear section of transmission housing (7) into main shaft (20) and countershaft (19).
15	Install radial sealing ring (10).	 Apply transmission oil to lip of radial sealing ring (10).

16	Insert output flange (9) into rear section of transmission housing (7) and tighten nut (8).	 Install new nut (8).

17	Remove rear section of transmission housing (7) from holder		*710589016300
18	Mount output flange (9) at holder		*710589016300
19	Detach bracket from shift shafts (1, 2, 4).		*710589026300
20	Tighten bolts (5) at shift lock (6).	 It must be easy to move the shift lock (6).

21	Insert reverse gear bolt (18) and reverse gear together with needle roller bearings (17).
22	Tighten bolt (14) with washer (13).	 Install new washer (13).

23	Insert cap (15) into bolt (14).	 Install new cap (15).
24	Install central shift shaft (3).
25	Install front section of transmission housing		AR26.40-I-2470B
