1 | Remove the shifter set | ||
2 | Remove the rear part of the gearbox | ||
3 | Unfasten and remove the inner bolts (1) from the intermediate housing | | |
4 | Unfasten the snap ring (3) and remove the sun gear (2) | In order to remove the sun gear (2), use a conventional two claws puller. | |
Install: heat the sun gear up to 150 °C before assembling it. The snap ring must be assembled with no clearance | |||
5 | Unscrew the bolts (4) and remove the lateral cover of the reverse speed gear | Remove the fastening bolts from the housing, which are close to the gear. | |

6 | Turn the gearbox, in such a way that the clutch housing is up | Use a hoist cut for this operation, and support the gearbox on wooden shims. | |
Install: the wooden shims must have enough height to avoid damages to the drive shaft . | |||
7 | Remove the clutch actuation | ||
8 | Remove the clutch housing | ||
9 | Remove the centering cover | ||
10 | Unscrew the fastening bolts (5) | | |
11 | Unscrew the bolts (10) and remove them together with the washers (14) | | |
12 | Remove the counter shaft's cover (13), together with the O-ring (12) and the compensating ring (11) | Install: check the pre-load of the counter shaft bearing and replace the compensating ring (11) by one that has the correct thickness, compensating for the pre-load of the counter shaft's bearing. | |

13 | Remove the three threaded plugs (6) with their respective springs (7) and tensioners (8) | | |
14 | Remove the front housing (9) | Install: Assemble a new sealing joint. Pay attention to the correct fitting of the housing in the guide pins and shift rods. | |
15 | Install the reverse order |
