Install the sun gear (15) and the snap ring (14)

 The groove of the inner sun gear's teeth (15) must be assembled facing the gearbox, the flat side facing the snap ring (14).

Position the rear housing (1) on the center housing

 Installation: Apply a sealant to the sealing faces.

Tighten the rear housing (1) assembly bolts

 Pay attention to the different sizes of the bolts.

 Vehicles with code (BA9), secondary retarder Voith R 115, or with code (BA1) Voith retarder with optimized power, additionally, remove two bolts and one nut at the retarder opening.

Install the sensor of the range group (SRA) (B63)

Only vehicles with code (GS2) electro-pneumatic gear actuation, or with code (BD9) retarder Telma Focal F 3300.

Determine the compensating washer (5) for the oil pump (6)

Install the compensating washer (5), the oil pump (6) and the valve elements

Install the locking rod for the Interlock
