Danger! | Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes. | Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. | |

2 | Connect connection line (1) to the expansion reservoir | | |
3 | Fold out emergency clutch pedal (4) | ||
4 | Switch on ignition | During this process the solenoid valve 1 (M1) on the clutch protection valve (6) is energized and the system is switched over to the pedal circuit. | |
5 | Switch on bleeder unit | ||
6 | Adjust bleeding pressure on bleeder unit to 2 bar | Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions. | |
Bleed pedal circuit | |||
7 | Attach the bleed hose (3) to the bleeder valve (2) on the clutch booster | ||
8 | Open bleeder valve (2) | Open the bleeder valve (2) at least through 90°. Carry out bleeding process until brake fluid flows out free of bubbles at the bleed hose | |
9 | Operate the emergency clutch pedal (4) quickly three times, then allow brake fluid to flow through for approx. 15 s without operating the emergency clutch pedal (4) | This work step must be repeated 12 times. | |
10 | Turn off ignition | ||
11 | Fold emergency clutch pedal (4) into place and wait at least 7 seconds | ||
12 | Switch on ignition | During this process the solenoid valve 3 (M3) on the clutch protection valve (6) is energized and the system is switched over to the electromotive clutch control circuit. | |
Bleed EMK circuit | |||
13 | Let the brake fluid flow through for at least 3 minutes | ||
14 | Activate the range selection rocker switch on the shift lever, then let the brake fluid flow through, without operating the rocker switch, for approximately 15 seconds | This work step must be repeated 12 times. | |
15 | Fold out emergency clutch pedal (4) | Ignition stays on | |
Bleed pedal circuit | |||
16 | Operate the emergency clutch pedal (4) quickly three times, then allow brake fluid to flow through for approx. 15 s without operating the emergency clutch pedal (4) | This work step must be repeated 12 times. | |
17 | Close bleeder valve (2) | ||
18 | Detach connection line (1) from expansion reservoir | ||
19 | Correct brake fluid level in the expansion reservoir | ||
20 | Check emergency clutch actuation | ||
| Telligent automatic gearshift system - check clutch emergency operation | ||
21 | Check tightness of breather valve (2) | ||
22 | Close front flap | ||
23 | Perform minor teach-in process on control unit |
