Installation: Grease splined profile, thrust bearing (3) and clutch release fork with long-term grease.

Check thrust bearing (3) and replace if necessary.

Slacken retaining bolts for pressure plate one turn at a time by 1 to 2 turns.

Loosening the individual bolts completely can damage the pressure plate.

Installation: Avoid tilting the alignment punch by moving it slightly.
Ensure that the pressure plate is pulled evenly and straight into the recess at the flywheel .

Remove pressure plate with drive plate

Do not throw or drop pressure plate or drive plate.

Check flywheel and all removed parts for wear, cracks and score marks

The two-mass flywheel of engines 601, 602 must not be post-worked

Install in the reverse order
