1 | Remove interior flap above engine | ||
2 | Turn cooling system cap (1) on expansion reservoir (2) a half turn counterclockwise, relieve the overpressure and then unscrew the cooling system cap (1) | ||
3 | Check coolant level in cooler (2), correct if necessary | ||

Fill cooling system up to the upper edge of the cooler (2). | |||

5 | Apply a pressure of a max. 1.6 bar to the cooling system | ||
6 | Observe pressure gauge on pressure pump for pressure drop in cooling system | ||
7 | Check all components of cooling system for leaktightness and establish coolant loss | Remove cause of the coolant loss if necessary; then repeat the check. | |
8 | Remove pressure in the cooling system on the pressure pump | ||
9 | Attach pressure pump to cooler (2) | Pressure pump | |
