Remove/install

Remove V-belt for the drive of the fan from the belt pulley

Unfasten screw/bolt (9)

Loosen screw/bolt (8) and turn nut (10) until the V-belt (11) is relaxed

 Installation: Check the tension of the V-belt (11) using the measuring instrument after tightening down the screw/bolt (8).

Remove V-belt (11)

If the V-belt (11) cannot be installed due to a clearance which is too small between the belt pulley (6) and the belt pulley (7):



Unscrew nuts (3, 4) and loosen clamp (2) on the charge air hose (1). Press radiator unit (5) somewhat to the front and remove V-belt (11). After installing the V-belt (11) tighten nuts (3, 4) and clamp (2) on the charge air hose (1) again.

 Installation: A minimum distance of 12 mm must be present between the belt pulley (6) and the belt pulley (7).



Check

Check V-belt for the fan drive, V-belt (11) and clamping device for wear and damage

If there are problems:



Replace affected parts.

Install in the reverse order
