Risk of explosion if ignition takes place, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling fuel vapors or swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to skin and eyes exposed to fuel.

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Unscrew union nuts of injection lines (2) at injectors (Y20, Y21, Y22, Y23) and at rail (3) and take off injection lines (2)

 Counter-hold with wrench at pressure pipe connection of the injector. On no account exceed the tightening torque in order to avoid also slackening the pressure pipe connection the next time.

 Injection lines which are color-coded or which reveal a loss of fuel, must be replaced.

 Re-used injection lines must be color-coded.

Do not crimp or bend injection lines. Inspect sealing cone at injection lines (2) and replace lines (2) if compression points are visible. Seal connections after removing the injection lines. Ensure scrupulous cleanliness!

 Installation: Ensure exact seating of the injection lines(2). Feed in injection lines (2) to rail (3) at injectors (Y20, Y21, Y22, Y23). Ensure the lines are installed free of stress.


