Unscrew screw (4).

Remove fuel line (2) from rail (1).

 Due to the limited accessibility, a commercially available screwdriver bit extra long TX60 should be used.

 Installation: Install new sealing rings.

Remove fuel line (2) from fuel filter module (5).

 Installation: Install new sealing rings.

Install stop plug (7) on fuel filter module (5).

Connect test adapter (6) to rail (1).

Reinstall high-pressure line (3) to rail (1) for the measurement.

Check

Start engine and perform an engine test run.

 Allow the engine to run at a higher engine speed.

If engine fails to start or only runs for a brief period,



Fill fuel low-pressure circuit.

Check area of fuel filter module and fuel lines (5, 6) in terms of leak tightness and switch off engine.

 Visual inspection.
