	Checking
1	Using a suitable tool, push rotors (1) toward transmission
2	Check gap (a) of both rotors (1) to stator (2) at 4 positions using a feeler gauge and determine average gap	 If the gap (a) is too large or too small: 	*BE43.40-N-1001-01C
		Install a new retarder - subject to separate repair order.	AR43.40-M-1000A
3	Using a suitable tool, push rotors (1) toward rear axle
4	Check gap (a) of both rotors (1) to stator (2) at 4 positions using a feeler gauge and determine average gap	 If the gap (a) is too large or too small: 	*BE43.40-N-1001-01C
		Install a new retarder - subject to separate repair order.	AR43.40-M-1000A
