Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Remove the rear wheels

 Vehicles with twin tires.

Inspect condition of brake disks

 Check outboard side of brake disks for score marks/crack formation and for excessively large burr.



Notes on evaluating brake disks

 If cracks and score marks are visible on the outboard side, it is necessary to check the brake disks outside and inside after removing the corresponding wheel.



Remove/install wheels

 Measure brake disk thickness using vernier caliper

 Vernier caliper

Install

Fit rear wheels
