Lowering

Clean the area around the oil filler screw (1) and oil drain screw (2, 5)

Unscrew oil filler screw (1) and oil drain screw (2 and/or 5)

 Change transmission oil when warm only.

If transmission has two oil filler screws (1) and oil drain screws (2), only one oil filler screw and one oil drain screw has to be removed.

Transmission 710.5/8:
On the oil drain screw (5) clean the magnetic plug and replace sealing ring.

Screw in oil drain screw (2 and/or 5)

Filling

Check transmission oil grade in the Telligent servicing system, if necessary set grade of transmission oil to be used for filling

Only on vehicles with Telligent maintenance system (code JW5)

Pour in transmission oil up to bottom edge of oil filler opening.

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by jamming and burns when working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.

Always wear appropriate work clothing when working on the vehicle.

Start engine, run for approx. 2 minutes and switch off again

Only transmission with transmission oil cooling (code N55) or power take-off

Undo oil filler screw (1) and refill transmission oil to lower edge of oil filler opening

On transmission 710 with transmission oil cooling (code N55) or power take-off


