(Run-on phase must have ended).

Disconnect plug connections A and B on control unit (behind timer).

Connect short-circuit bridge on plugs A and B on control unit.

Heater unit: ON

Combustion air blower runs audibly:

Loose contract:

Re-connect plug connections on control unit, erase fault memory and switch on heater unit. Then tap / shake plug connections, observing HHT display.

Fault cause is located at the point where fault code re-appears.

Connect short-circuit bridge to plug connection FF8 under electrical compartment.

Inspect cable harness from control unit to electrical compartment, fit new cable if necessary (use 1.5 mm 2, lilac/brown).

Connect short-circuit bridge to plug connection G.

Carry out measurement at both pins of X6

Inspect plug X6 for corrosion.

Replace combustion air blower complete with cable and plug X6 if necessary.

Value > 10 kΩ:

Inspect plug connection X6.

Replace cable harness from air recirculation box to heater unit (complete with molded connection plate on heater unit) if necessary.
