1 | Remove lower wishbone | Do not detach the flange joint (1) from the lower wishbone. | |
2 | Check rubber boot (2) on flange joint (1) for cracks and damage | If rubber boot (2) is leaking, replace flange joint. | |
3 | Clamp ball head bolt (3) of flange joint (1) in vise and check for excessive axial play by moving backwards and forwards (arrow). | Use protective jaws for vise. |
