Remove lower wishbone

Do not detach the flange joint (1) from the lower wishbone.

Check rubber boot (2) on flange joint (1) for cracks and damage

If rubber boot (2) is leaking, replace flange joint.

Clamp ball head bolt (3) of flange joint (1) in vise and check for excessive axial play by moving backwards and forwards (arrow).

Use protective jaws for vise.
