Removing

Danger!

Risk of injury from pinching and crushing when working on the folding door and the folding door control system

When working on the folding door or folding door control, relieve pressure from system with emergency lever (off position).

Switch off ignition

Remove paneling from folding door control

Remove retaining ring (7) from journal (4) on rotating pillar

Remove retaining ring (2) from bearing pin (3)

Remove bearing pin (3) from actuating cylinder (1)

Remove actuating cylinder (1)

Remove compressed air lines (5, 6) from actuating cylinder (1)

For this purpose slightly press ring on connection element. Mark compressed air lines (5, 6), in relation to connections on actuating cylinder (1).

Install

Transfer parts from actuating cylinder (1)

Only if actuating cylinder (1) is replaced.

Install compressed air lines (5, 6) on actuating cylinder (1)

Observe markings on compressed air lines (6, 5). Slide compressed air lines (5. 6) into connection elements on actuating cylinder (1) until they arrest perceptibly

Install actuating cylinder (1)

Install bearing pin (3) on actuating cylinder (1)

Grease bearing pin (3).

Install retaining ring (2) on bearing pin (3)

Install retaining ring (7) on bearing pin (4) of rotating pillar

Install emergency lever or rotary switch of EMERGENCY-OFF valve and switch EMERGENCY-OFF valve to operating position

Switch on ignition

Check travel of actuating cylinder (1), adjust if necessary

Check door open/close limit switch, adjust if necessary

Check end position damping on actuating cylinder (1), adjust if necessary

Switch off ignition

Remove emergency lever or rotating switch on EMERGENCY-OFF valve

Install paneling on folding door control
