Mount charger.

A sufficient power supply for the on-board electrical system battery must be guaranteed throughout the entire work procedure.
Otherwise any undervoltage that occurs may damage the control units.

Follow the operating instructions for the charger.

Use the charger to ensure that an adequate voltage (min. 12.5 V) is provided for the on-board electrical system battery.

Install vehicle diagnosis system.

If XENTRY Diagnosis is not yet attached.

Always use the latest XENTRY Diagnosis software release.
Use XENTRY Diagnosis software release December 2019 with all relevant current add-ons (in particular add-on 15334)
or XENTRY Diagnosis software release March 2020 with all relevant current add-ons (in particular add-on 15335)
or a more recent XENTRY Diagnosis software release.

The operation steps in XENTRY Diagnosis must be followed precisely at all times.

If XENTRY Diagnosis is already connected to vehicle,

continue with operation step 4.

Remove vehicle diagnosis system from vehicle.
