1 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | ||

2 | Unfasten previous screw clamp (2) on ventilation pipe (3) and remove air intake hose (1) | With regard to return shipment or scrapping of removed parts, please observe the information in your warranty system. | |
3 | Detach bracket (4) of ventilation pipe (3) from engine | ||
4 | Detach air intake pipe (9) from carrier (7) | ||
5 | Release hose (8) from air filter housing (6) and air intake pipe (9) | ||
6 | Release threaded connection of air filter housing (6) on carrier (7) | Do not release tensioning straps. | |

7 | Slide new spring bracket clamp (2) onto ventilation pipe (3) | The new spring bracket clamp (2) replaces the previous screw clamp (2). | |
8 | Loosely insert new air intake hose (1) | ||
9 | Align all the parts of the air-intake area free of tension | The folds on the new air intake hose (1) must run as parallel as possible to each other. | |
10 | Screw air intake pipe (9) onto carrier (7) | ||
11 | Slide ventilation pipe (3) up to end stop in the new air intake hose (1) and fix in place using a new spring bracket clamp (2) | ||
12 | Tighten screw clamp of air intake hose (1) on turbocharger (5) and air intake pipe (9) | Check for parallel position to turbocharger (5) while doing so. | |
13 | Screw bracket (4) of ventilation pipe (3) onto engine | ||
14 | Tighten all screw clamps on the air intake pipe (9) and the hose (8) | ||
15 | Tighten threaded connection for air filter housing (6) on carrier (7) | ||
16 | Start engine and check air intake area for leaktightness | Visual inspection. | |
17 | Turn off engine | ||
18 | Close engine hood | ||
