In this specific case, there is a 24-month special warranty on the installed and the directly affected components of the refrigerant circuit. Cases are invoiced using the special damage code 8370A 01.
The following must be observed for processing under the special warranty:
1 The part causing the damage is a part from the conversion or the complaint has a direct connection to the modification and affects the refrigerant circuit.
2 The accounting number of the vehicle affected by the recall must be entered in the message field of the claim.
3 Cases are invoiced in the same way as under a replacement part warranty. Accordingly, the installation date and kilometer reading must be entered in the claim. The date and kilometer reading at which the recall was performed on the affected vehicle apply.
