Due to recent events please remember that recently OK components of the rear entertainment have been removed. In order to investigate the failure cause more accurately, we request the customer adviser to use the enclosed check list during discussions with the customer.
The most frequently specified customer complaints are:
- Screen folds up and does not remain in position (90°). Position is exceeded.
- DVD-menu (audio language, subtitle, etc.) is not displayed.
These complaints are to some extent attributable to incorrect operations by the customer.
In the supplementary instructions Rear Seat Entertainment these functions/settings are described in the chapter "Operation -> Line up the screen of the RSE device, DVD-menu and menu overview".
If the exchange of the rear entertainment is essential, this is to be obtained as a reconditioned part (part number with color code and /80).
Return delivery of rear entertainment:
The rear entertainment which has been removed must be sent with the check list filled in in the original packaging of the new part to the inspection station of the respective MPC. The use of different packaging or a missing check list lead to the rejection of the warranty claim.
