If the noises (shuddering/squeaking) still exist despite undamaged wiper blades, a clean windshield, use of the specified windshield washer fluid concentrate and correctly adjusted spray nozzles, then such noises may also result from an incorrect angle of attack of the wiper arms relative to the windshield.
The wiper blades or wiper arms must not be replaced.
Wiper blades are wear parts which may become permanently deformed and damaged even though they are "not in use" for an extended period (storage in rest position).

Further stress on the wiper rubber results from varying environmental influences that progressively change the wiping effect and accelerate the aging process.
Due to the natural aging process and wear characteristics the wiper blades should be changed at least once a year.
If it is necessary to change the wiper blades this may not be settled via warranty or goodwill.
Any parts returned as allegedly damaged will not be recognized as such and will be redebited!

We would like to refer you to our new "Check and adjustment tools case" (available since early December 12/2003).
The tool is designed for checking and adjusting the angle of attack of wiper arms.
This tool is compatible with all previous and current windshield wiper systems.
Work instructions (brochure) for checking / evaluating the current condition and the measures required for correct adjustment are being enclosed in the case for a short period only and will then be published in the "WIS" system.
The correct angle of attack (inclination of wiper blades relative to the windshield in rest position) is also essential to ensure that the wiper blades are correctly flipped over when the wiper arms are changing their direction of travel (position of wiper arms at the A-pillars of the windshield, or at the rear window).
A correct adjustment (if necessary) results in the wiper blade running smoothly on the windshield!
No wiper blades and wiper arms may be exchanged without justified reason.
Damage parts which are returned to us and are not the subject of justified complaints will be redebited.
Should there still be complaints in isolated cases, and despite taking into account all the criteria already mentioned, we request that you contact us so we can agree on further details and measures.
An extension of validity to all the vehicles not mentioned here, as well as to the rear wiper system is currently being processed and will be supplied at a later time.
