We would like to notify you here about the modified assembly of the end caps (1) for the tie-down rails (4) on the platform floor.
The modified assembly described below, is to be used with immediate effect, when retrofitting the tie-down rails (4) on the platform floor:
Use suitable cleaner to clean bonding areas on each of the end caps (1) and the bonding areas on the platform inlay (3). Apply adhesive uniformly to cross-hatched unit on each of the end caps (1). Insert each of the end caps (1) immediately into the respective aluminum profile section for the tie-down rail (2) while simultaneously firmly pressing on to the platform inlay (3).
The adhesive to be used is " Pattex® General-Purpose Adhesive Transparent Repair Gel" is available for procurement in the retail market or through the Internet at the following link: http://www.pattex.de
Observe manufacturer's specifications with regard to use of the adhesive and its processing time.
Remove any excess adhesive on the end caps (1) and on the platform inlay (3) immediately.
Otherwise, damage can occur when removing the cured adhesive.
