STEERING 765.84 in MODEL 970, 972, 975, 976
We again remind you that when bleeding modular steering systems, the repair instructions
AR46.25-W-3300C in WIS must be read and observed.
We receive repeated reports that modular steering systems with the model designation 765.84 (LS 4 BK), 765.83 (LS 6 BK) and 765.82 (LS 8 BK) and power steering pumps are being replaced, even though they are not defective.
A common reason for the replacement of non-defective components is that technicians do not observe the different bleeding procedures for the various steering systems.
