In accordance with ISO 9001 it is necessary for the traceability of safety-relevant components to be assured. For this reason, please remember that when the steering is replaced, that this also has to be redocumented in VeDoc similar to the procedural instruction for the engine and transmission (1200-17A handling engine-transmission numbers).
To this end, the steering number and the object number for the newly installed steering must be entered into VeDoc.
If you do not have write access to VeDoc to make the necessary entries, please contact your next higher-up organizational unit that has write access to VeDoc. It is to be notified in writing per fax or email about the scopes to be redocumented.
