With immediate effect, when tire pressure sensors are returned for warranty inspection, a control unit log of the tire pressure monitor control unit (N88) must be enclosed.
The control unit log should be generated before starting diagnosis or repair work.
An active online connection of XENTRY Diagnosis must be ensured.
As of 01.07.2019, warranty claims for tire pressure sensors will be rejected during the warranty inspection if no control unit log is enclosed.
When sent together with tire pressure sensors, control unit logs preferably in German or English must be enclosed.
To make printing out easier, the diagnostic system has a "Control unit log" menu item.
In this menu item, the following data is compiled automatically and can then be printed out:
Control unit data
Vehicle data
Customer complaint (to be filled out by workshop personnel)
Fault memory
Freeze frame data
Quick test
The menu item "Control unit log" can be found in the main menu for the respective control unit. In order to ensure a targeted inspection, it is important to fill in the field "Customer complaint (remarks regarding damage)" and to give any other information concerning the damage.
