The change to the variable speed limit from 20 km/h to
30 km/h for refuse collecting vehicles has been approved by the Technical Inspection Association and the Trade Association.
On vehicles equipped with a GBL module, part no. 000 446 03 04, or EMR module, part no. 000 446 16 02, STAR DIAGNOSIS can be used to alter the parameter setting to 30 km/h.
Requirement for parameter setting adjustment:
- Authorization as under § 57b speedometer test
- Chipcard for STAR DIAGNOSIS
- On vehicles equipped with a vehicle diagnostic system (FDS) a separate diagnostic socket, part no. 004 545 79 26, must be retrofitted.
Diagnostic socket connection:
