Please remember that, when replacing transmission 722.96/97, it is important to ensure that the oil restrictor (1) with filter screen (2) is present in the oil line (3). If this is not the case, the middle gear set will no longer be adequately supplied with transmission oil and this will lead to transmission damage even over short distances!
In the case of warranty and goodwill cases where the fault is the missing oil restrictor (1) with filter screen (2) in the oil line (3), the warranty and goodwill claim will be rejected.
