Modification notes
As of 01.01.1998, the safety standard for the immobilizer has been improved on the vehicles listed.
The data entered in VeDoc on the "Engine control unit" tab box must match the control unit data read out using Star Diagnosis.
All engines equipped with unapproved engine control (MR) control units are recognized during the vehicle key teach-in process.
Thus, the vehicle key teach-in process is not possible.
In this instance the following documents are sent to the VeDoc Hotline per XSF (Event category: vehicle data/VeDoc). Alternatively the documents can be sent per email to [email protected].

Entry in VeDoc
The major assembly number and object number on the engine identification plate are to be adopted. When making an entry in VeDoc please note that a space is to be inserted before and after the center number (e.g. 00 / 08 / 09). When ordering control units please note the information in SI07.15-W-0012A
