Since July 2014, the rear axle differentials on model 636, 639 with rear wheel drive or all-wheel drive have been filled with FE (Fuel Economy) hypoid gear oil (specification 235.7).
On model 636, 639 prior to this period, it is possible to use the FE hypoid gear oil (specification 235.7) for refilling.
On model 636, 639, the FE hypoid gear oil must now always be used when changing the oil.
On model 447, the rear axle differential must be filled only with the hypoid gear oil (specification 235.31).
