GF77.20-P-3002MX | Synchronizing sliding/pop-up roof, function | 15.8.02 |
MODEL 240 with CODE (414A) Electric glass sliding/pop-up roof
Operation
Synchronization must be performed whenever desychronization has taken place.
Performing synchronization
Open the pop-up roof with the roof system switch (N70s1) as far as the mechanical limit stop and continue to press the switch. The overhead control panel control module (N70) continues to actuate the motor and resets the position counter to zero when it detects that the motor is locked up for at least 0.5 s.
Before reaching the end stop position a minimum of 3 pulse edges must be detected on each Hall sensor.
Synchronization cannot be performed using the "convenience opening", "convenience closing" and "automatic opening/closing" functions because these are inoperative in the desynchronized state.
The sliding/pop-up roof is now in the synchronized state. This means that during automatic opening and closing of the sliding/pop-up roof, the overhead control panel control module (N70) can now cut off the motor before the mechanical limit stop is reached.
