MODEL 240 with CODE (414A) Electric glass sliding/pop-up roof
sliding/pop-up roof lock-up recognition function
The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives voltage pulses from the two Hall sensors located on the sliding/pop-up roof motor (M12m1) and evaluates these for the purpose of position measurement.
If the Hall sensor pulses are not transmitted for longer than 0.3 s the drive is switched off
A lock-up in the lift mechanism will furthermore cause desynchronization to occur. In addition, a mechanical thermostat safety switch on the sliding/pop-up roof motor (M12m1) protects it against overload. In the event of failure of the Hall sensors, the roof can still be closed in increments of t=160 ms with the roof switch (N70s1) or with the emergency crank.
If the roof is closing the roof reverses direction in addition to the drive being switched off.
