Overview
This document contains information on:
General
Function
General
The fuel distributor pressure and temperature sensor detects the fuel pressure and fuel temperature in the fuel distributor.
The fuel pressure and fuel temperature are each transmitted to the combustion engine control unit as a voltage signal. The combustion engine control unit requires the fuel pressure and the fuel temperature for the needs-based actuation of the quantity control valve.
The fuel distributor pressure and temperature sensor is on the fuel distributor.
Function
The fuel pressure and fuel temperature act on a piezoresistive sensor chip. The electronics of the sensor chip generate a signal voltage that is supplied to the combustion engine control unit.
