| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove inner trim from seat frame of respective front seat (2). | ||
2 | Remove front seat (2) from vehicle floor and tilt backward with electric lines connected until electrical connector (3) is accessible. | ||
Do not disconnect ground line from on-board electrical system battery. | |||
3 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connector (3). | ||
5 | Remove electrical wiring harness (4) from front seat (2). | ||
6 | Remove nut (5). | Nut, seat belt buckle to front seat | |
7 | Thread seat belt buckle (1) through cover (6) and remove. | ||
8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| Check | ||
9 | Carry out function test of seat belt buckle (1). |
