Remove/install

Remove rear seat cushion.

Remove trim (5).

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (6).

with code 7U3 (Seat model variant 3)
with code 877 (ambient lighting)

Unlock right seat backrest (3) and fold forwards.

Unscrew screws (7).

 Bolt, mounting frame bow for seat backrest to C-pillar

Pull right seat backrest (3) off bearing pin and remove right seat backrest (3).

 Take care not to damage the bearing bushings (arrows).

Remove screws (9) and remove right pivot bearing (8).

 Screw/bolt, backrest pivot bearing to body

If the guide piece (arrow) on the right pivot bearing (8) is damaged,



Replace guide piece (arrow).

Unscrew screw (4).

 Screw/nut, seat belt end fitting/rear seat belt buckle to body

Unlock left seat backrest (1) and center seat backrest (2) and fold forwards.

Remove screws (10) and remove left pivot bearing (11).

 Screw/bolt, backrest pivot bearing to body

If the guide piece (arrow) on the left pivot bearing (11) is damaged,



Replace guide piece (arrow).

Remove left seat backrest (1) and center seat backrest (2).

If the guide pieces (arrows) are damaged,



Replace guide pieces (arrows).

Install in the reverse order.
