1 | Disconnect battery ground line | ||
2 | Remove seat cushion padding from front passenger bench seat (3) | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) | ||
4 | Remove bolts (2) | Screw/bolt, front passenger bench seat to crossmember | |
5 | Remove bolts (4) | Screw/bolt, front passenger bench seat to seat console | |
6 | Move front passenger bench seat (3) forward until the screw/bolt (5) is accessible | Installation: Position strut (7) between crossmember (8) and front passenger bench seat (3). Make sure that the tab on the cross member (8) latches into the opening on the strut (7) (arrow). | |
7 | Remove screw/bolt (5) and detach belt end fitting (6) from the bench seat (3) | Screw/bolt, belt end fitting to front passenger bench seat | |
8 | Remove front passenger bench seat (3) from vehicle through door cutout on passenger side | Helper required. | |
9 | Install in the reverse order |
