Open | |||
1 | Pull handle (1) below instrument on left to unlock engine hood. | The handle (2) jumps out of the radiator paneling; slightly lift engine hood, if necessary. | |
2 | Pull handle (2) out of radiator grille as far as the stop and open engine hood | Windshield wiper arm should not be folded toward front. Do not lift with handle. | |
Move to upright position | |||
3 | Pull locking lever (3) on left engine hood prop in direction of arrow and slightly push engine hood upward so that locking lever (3) cannot arrest. Repeat procedure on right engine hood proper and position engine hood upright. | ||
Close | |||
4 | Pull locking lever (3) on left engine hood prop in direction of arrow, repeat procedure on right engine hood prop and lower engine hood. | ||
5 | Close engine hood |
