1 | Disconnect ground lead from battery | Do not interrupt main battery current in heater mode or in the power-down phase. | |
2 | Remove heater | Body 942.899 | |
Bodies 940.899, 972.899 | |||
3 | Remove outlet shroud (3) from housing segments (1, 4) | Press nose (arrow) of outlet shroud downward and remove outlet shroud. | |
4 | Remove expansion rivet (2) | Punch through expansion rivet drift (arrow A) and remove expansion rivet. Installation: Use new expansion rivet. | |
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
