Danger! | Danger of severe burns to skin and eyes from hot coolant spewing out. Coolant is toxic when swallowed | Open cooling system only when coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cover slowly and reduce pressure. Do not fill beverage containers with coolant. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and protective goggles. |
1 Add coolant caught while removing heater to coolant expansion reservoir.
2 Close cap on expansion reservoir.
3 Set vehicle heater to "max".
4 Start vehicle engine and allow to warm up to operating temperature (approx. 80°C).
Check heater and coolant lines for leakage while engine is warming up.
5 Shut off vehicle engine after reaching operating temperature.
6 Check coolant level in expansion reservoir and add coolant if necessary.
