Danger! | Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. | |

1 | Switch off ignition | Make sure that the air conditioning is switched off and that the condenser blowers have stopped turning. | |
2 | Close shutoff valve for heating flow and return | See Operating Instruction | |
3 | Remove air conditioning cover (roof equipment) | ||
4 | Remove air duct for air conditioning (roof equipment) | ||
5 | Unclamp heating water hose (arrows) and remove from heat exchanger (1) | Collect escaping coolant. Installation: Check coolant hoses and replace if necessary. | |
6 | Unscrew screw (2) | ||
7 | Remove hose connections (3) on heat exchanger (1) | ||
8 | Keep heat exchanger (1) vertical and pull out upwards | ||
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
10 | Fill up coolant | Cooling system bleeds itself automatically. | |
| Engine cooling system - inspect fluid level, adjust to correct level. Inspect anticorrosion/ antifreeze protection, adjust to correct concentration |
