Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Remove refrigerant line between vehicle interior expansion valve and front connecting point.

Disconnect electrical connector from refrigerant pressure sensor.

Remove front bumper.

Disconnect vacuum line (2) from brake booster and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.

Disconnect coolant line coupling (3) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.

Remove bolts (5).

Detach air duct segment (4) in upper area until the screw (6) is accessible.

Unscrew screw/bolt (6).

 Bolt, refrigerant line to condenser

Detach refrigerant line (1) from refrigerant condenser and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Installation: Replace O-ring using  assembly tool and moisten with compressor oil.

Detach refrigerant line (1) from vehicle interior expansion valve and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.



 Installation: Replace O-ring using  assembly tool and moisten with compressor oil.

Unclip refrigerant line (1) from line bracket (7).

Remove refrigerant line (1).


Handle refrigerant line (1) carefully.
Otherwise there may be damage to the refrigerant line (1) or adjacent component parts.

 Helper required.

Install in the reverse order
